Came here in march for my birthday for brunch with friends and family. I was so disappointed food was dry for the people who wanted to give them a try on buffet and did not have much of an items to choose from (6 or 7). Then the waitress did not know what a flight of mimosa was and the music was way to loud. I love to support black owned businesses but this was a Big disappointment.

I've had a great time at Father's Day brunch in the past. My aunt was in town and I recommended this place for brunch and it was terrible. On a Saturday afternoon, there was only one other table of guests. A couple of tables that were never cleared from previous guests. The owner was the host/server/bartender/buffet staff. The food was cold and tasted like it was sitting out all morning. It's a $35 all you can eat brunch but no one went back for seconds or even finished their plate. I was very disappointed with the overall experience :(

Went for Easter brunch - amazing food and SO MUCH FUN! The highlights: - fried pork chops so flavorful and tender you didn’t need a knife - shrimp and grits out of this world - pot roast to die for - hands down the best green beans I’ve ever had - fantastic Mac and cheese - strawberry cheesecake bread pudding OMG - I don’t know what was in the Chef David’s mimosas, but YES! - the best clientele w: the cutest little kids - everyone was hanging out and enjoying each other, dancing, and having so much fun! This may be my new favorite place!!! Kid-friendliness: Brunch was a party and dancing was a must. And, there was no shortage of ‘grandmas’ for the little ones to smile and wave to!!!

The food is very delicious here and the owners are the absolute best! I'm not a fan of loud music while eating but that's my personal preference.

Went for brunch and the food and music were fine but their ordering system is not efficient, the charges are not clear and they are way more expensive than you think you’re signing up for. You have to order and pay on your phone even if you come into the restaurant. We ordered mimosas and nobody noticed until we asked for them so in the end a human being needed to be given our order anyway (and the place was not very busy when we went). The brunch is $35 dollars and I added a tip so I thought the total at the bottom of my screen was the brunch and the tip but when we got home and checked, there is the brunch, the tip and additional $5-$8 service charge which we were not told about by the person who seated us and told us to use the app or the app itself before we hit pay. (Your order total with your tip and the service charge will only appear on your screen AFTER your card has been charged.) It already seemed weird to be tipping when we had to order from an app and go to the buffet to get the food ourselves but I understand that restaurant workers earn a living on tips so I don’t mind adding them but to also add a hefty service charge (and we were a party of two, not a large group) without clearly letting people know that this is the case is not honest business. If the service charge is for using the online ordering system, then that is even more ludicrous. If you don’t mind paying $50 for a single brunch (this was without the mimosas) then you will enjoy this place. I had a great time when I ate here about a year ago and there was actual service which is why I recommended it to my friend but unfortunately this visit was hugely disappointing so I don’t think I will be recommending it anymore.

My experience this go round was pretty horrible. I wanted to try the brunch due to the nice sexy pictures on the website. It's not like that at all. The first time I came was when they first opened, it was absolutely fantastic. My food was hot, looked great and tasted amazing. So, why not try brunch. The school cafeteria line was not what I expected. The food was average. The chicken looked and tasted old. The sausage looked like rubber. It's wasn't NO variety at all. No lavished nothing! We paid 118.00 for two people for a school cafeteria experience. This place I normally bragged about. I did tell the owner that I really wasn't happy with the food and his attitude was OH WELL! The music was on point though. I hope you take these reviews serious and make some changes. Maybe decorate the banquet style brunch NICER and more professional. It gave, I'm up and let's just open for brunch vibe with no thought. Not a good experience on Sunday, March 03. It looked a little ghetto compared how I remembered it when it first opened.
