RAW KALE?! No thanks! It’s like a Brillo pad, hurts your jaw, and I LOVE kale. At least massage in a little lemon juice or olive oil. Ordered the golden beat salad and it is lack luster to say the least. If you’re hungry, don’t order this salad. It’s $15 and with chicken is $22!! What the heeeecckkkk…check out the pics, does it look like a $22 salad to you? The online menu needs to be updated btw.

This fine establishment is in my top 5 for sure now. Got the windy city sandwich with brussel sprouts wifey got the green chili burger with a egg and she gave the two thumbs up. Got the peanut butter cheese cake for dessert and it was worth every penny.

Been here multiple times and it's always amazing. One of the few places I can get a steak and not walk out thinking I could've done it better, can't recommend them enough!

I will say that the food was good. That part was true. I had the Crobster and my son had the lamb burger. They both tasted very good. The burger was cooked just the way it was ordered. The Crobster was a delight to eat. The roasted root hash was light enough and yet still filling. Now with that said, why then the low mark? Well, the service was the one complaint we both had. The way the seating works. if you chose to sit outside, you can sit anywhere you wish, for the most part. The hostess let us sit over at the Broken Trail. By the way, a great place for a drink. I don't drink but the bartender was very nice. She, the hostess, said she would make sure to tell the waiter/waitress we were there. I saw the waiter look right at us, then go back in. We were seated by 12:25. The hostess wound up taking our order. We had been there about 15 minutes at that point. So the order went in 12:40. We get our order about 1:30. That is a 50 minute wait. Now the waiter did come over and tell us his name, Wes. He seemed like a nice enough guy. We did not see Wes again until about 35 minutes after we had ordered. He apologized for the long wait. Then a different waitress brought us our food 5 minutes after that. The next time we saw our waiter was when he brought us the check. Never once was there any hint of a discount due to the excess wait time. No, hey would like it to go? Nothing. I can see when a place is very busy there being a long wait time. But really? The place was not that busy. I counted 6 tables being used by them. It's possible I miscounted but I don't think so. I consider the wait time and the lack of interaction by the waiter unacceptable. I had an hour for lunch and was 30 minutes late due to their lack of hustle. Sorry, but I do not plan on going back, no matter how good the food was. The service was worse than any place I have ever gone. 2nd Trip. This time we were seated quickly and our server was there right away. He had a pleasant personality and was knowledgeable of the menu. I had a chicken wrap with a side of tomato bisque. The star was the tomato bisque. For it alone I would go back. The wrap was fair. Much better this time around.

Nice atmosphere though a bit dark (needed my phone flashlight to read the menu) and friendly wait staff. The patio looked nice. We all ordered burgers with "no pink". But, unfortunately, all three burgers were very pink inside. Two of our party of three got digestive issues the next day unfortunately. Once we realized they there were "rare" (which wasn't really until we had taken a few bites...as I mentioned it's dark in the restaurant) rather than "well done", we should have sent them back for them to cook them properly, but it was late and it had taken a long time to receive the food in the first place, so we decided we didn't want the hassle... For an establishment serving a variety of burgers, you'd expect them to be able to cook them properly... Side dish was fine. I recommend anything but the burgers there... Or if you feel courageous and do order a burger there, check the meat before taking a bite.
