We love Foreign & Domestic! I visited here for my second time recently. My partner and I love the lively atmosphere. We made reservations for the bar this time, and it was incredible to watch the cooks work their magic. I ordered the Parisian gnocchi, which is truly an amazing dish. Has a lemon-butter sauce that you will not soon forget. My partner ordered the Bavette steak. The steak was cooked perfectly medium, but we didn't care for the sauce that came with it, which was a bit smokey (maybe it's the chili oil?) I remember liking the dessert on my first visit, but can't recall what I had. There is an extensive wine list as well as beers (but no cocktails). This is a great neighborhood spot to have a delicious meal outside of downtown. I will return to try some of the appetizers and other dishes.

Brunch was overall good, with some real winners and some lesser options. The pancake is honestly one of the best I’ve had in Austin, and the key lime crème fraiche is a wonderful elaboration. Frittata was a surprising flavor explosion, though the chicken on the chicken biscuit was fried soggy and overwhelmed by the cheddar biscuit. Separate from the food, the service gradually degraded from attentive to MIA by the end of the meal.

Cannot recommend working for them. Find other legitimate businesses to work for if you're job hunting.

Great oysters and apps! Not much seating inside so I recommend getting a reservation or coming when they first open.

Accommodating for a large reservation, despite having to wait a little bit ahead of time to ensure we had ability to sit our party of 16. Brought out variety of bread and coffee while we waited. Absolutely recommend the cinnamon rolls as they are by far some of the best I have had. Food came in waves, but understandable given the small space and large party. Everything is clearly fresh and well prepared. Attentive and accommodating staff.

Fantastic female owned and operated spot. For dinner - Get the counter if you can!! Watching this kitchen run is a show in and of itself. The food is phenomenal. I love brunch and dinner equally here. Support this local gem!!! That ‘bay’ flavored ice cream is next level. It is true foodie ice cream (like you see chefs try to do on tv but sounds gross?). This is what elevated dessert is meant to be. Nuanced, interesting, layered, and delicious. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options! Dietary restrictions: I am keto and have come here with a vegetarian - we both left very happy and well fed Possible cross contamination in the kitchen but they do a great job for non-allergy based dietary needs. Parking: Tiny lot of like 4 spots but plenty of street parking. Kid-friendliness: Not really a kid spot. But. If you brought kids I bet they would take wonderful care of the kids. Wheelchair accessibility: It is a tiny space but all wheelchair accessible

Food & Service were pretty good. Might not get the burger next time or will not add bacon, husband was kind of sick after. Otherwise good, I had a salad and collard greens. Everything was rich and fresh tasting. Got a scoop of chocolate coriander ice cream for dessert, interesting might try a different flavor or dessert next time .

I came here with a large group of family/friends (16 people), and we had made a reservation via OpenTable over a week in advance, with a $25/person charge if you don't show up or cancel before 24 hours. We got there on time for our reservation, but they didn't have our table open. We sat outside, waiting, for about half an hour. **additional note, apparently my sister did not update the reservation to add more people until earlier that morning, so I understand that can make things difficult, especially in such a small space.** After that hiccup, the rest of the visit went fine. The food was pretty good; Mom really liked her frittata, I thought the cinnamon roll was really tasty, and I enjoyed the zucchini bread as well. Service was decent, but I feel like they could have checked up on us more and they also must have accidentally swapped mine and my sister's order, because I asked for eggs over medium but got over easy, and my sister ordered over easy but got medium. Not a terrible mistake and the food was still good, so no hard feelings on that. Overall, the place is good, and I would definitely recommend going, just probably with fewer people.

I came for brunch with my family, and despite having a reservation, we had to wait at least 20 minutes past our reserved time to be seated. Pretty much everyone's eggs came out overcooked, but we were all so hungry we didn't bother trying to get it remade as this likely would have taken more time than it was worth. My over-easy eggs came out over-medium, and people's poached eggs, which should be runny, were fully cooked through. The Apple Pancakes were phenomenal, as was the cinammon bread with cream cheese frosting, but a lot of the other food was mediocre. I will give points, though, for making a special drink for my niece. Server was nice, and there was good background music.
