While it's not fancy it's excellent food service, sort of a atmosphere. Worth the drive from Savannah. No disappointment.

I got the meatloaf, the rutabagas, and the mustard greens. There are not a lot of places that I can get laced cornbread so historically I always go for that. However, this time I looked at the rolls and thought, I bet that is good. It was my favorite part. I was trying to be a little healthier which is why I skipped on the mashed potatoes and chicken fried steak. Those are probably my preference and make up my previous 5 star review. The ambiance in Fordhams is 5 stars mainly BECAUSE the service is so darn great. The ladies here take care of you like nothing else. I feel right at home and taken care of. Our waitress was amazing and even after she took care of us, another waitress stepped over to clean our table and ask if I wanted a sweet tea for the road! Thanks Fordham's!
