Forbidden City Restaurant

My family and I love Chinese food. We have been coming to this restaurant since 2017 when we moved here. We always had great experiences coming here with food and the service. But this time it didn’t well. SERVICE We came here for dinner about 6:00-8:00 pm. The waitress come to our table 3 times. One time my husband and I ask the waitress ask for Dr Pepper for my husband. But when we drank it, our faces was disgusted. It some sort Diet Coke. We both don’t like diet stuff. It was a shocked when it served to us. FOOD In the past the food was great and still is but….. The size of the food GOT WAY SMALLER like the sushi. My husband and I know what a great and god size potions taste and look like sushi. I have rate this to a three because in the past was good. But tonight everything gone bad the service and the size of the Auchincloss was horrible.

First time eating hear. Place was very clean and the wait stuff checked on us on a regular basis. Good selection of food although much of the chicken was over cooked and dry, While they have a decent selection of Sushi, it is the first time I have had miniaturized size Shushi. It would three or four of these small sized Shushi's to equal one normal sized one. Still I would go back and try it again.

So many choices. All delicious. Especially liked 4 kinds of steamed buns.

it‘s a big surprise! Awesome buffet and equitable price,there are a plenty of dishes to choose ,and really delicious! It becomes my favorite Chinese restaurant!

Terrible service tonight. Normally, the service is excellent and attentive. However, tonight's server was new and/or incompetent. She told me they were out of green tea... At a Chinese restaurant. Managed to get my green tea, but we barely saw our server during our meal. My boyfriend *specifically* told our server to use his Forbidden City gift card to pay for his meal, and his debit card for only my meal, since he is on a tight budget. Server ignored his request, and used his debit card to pay for both of us; she lied to us that his gift card declined, and with her negligence, blew my boyfriend's weekly budget in one go. If she had even tried the gift card, it would have stated as much on the printed receipt. We had to get a manager involved. Issue was resolved, thankfully; my boyfriend will be refunded in a few days. I am not one to complain about food industry workers, but it's unacceptable for a server to lie to customers.

They got roaches and it cooled from my plate and they didn’t do a thing about it

The service is bad, not many selection but the Habachi is good!

Food,service and atmosphere is always exceptional. The best Chinese buffet in Chattanooga hands down. Highly recommend
