For Five Coffee Garden City

A great upscale local coffee shop serving great drinks and fantastic food. On top of the great coffee, tea, and baked goods, there's a pretty solid food menu full of fantastic breakfast and brunch options. Everything is definitely on the upscale side, so be prepared for higher price points for everything. It's a super modern, bright, clean, and spacious cafe, with plenty of tables, chairs, couches and armchairs. It's a great place to get some work done, read, or catch up with a friend over coffee or a meal. The staff are really friendly and attentive. You order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to your table, and pick things up after. Overall, a fantastic spot in a great neighborhood!

Excellent spot, there's always a place to sit. Food is excellent and staff is very friendly. Great environment and great for meetings too, although it's always busy and a little bit loud.

If you are coming to work, please be advised this is not a quiet place what so ever. The music is obnoxiously loud, which causes people to talk at unreasonable levels indoors so they can even hear each other. Also the wifi does not work consistently, so be prepared to use your hotspot. The food and coffee was just OK, nothing to brag about and my hot coffee was more lukewarm than hot.

Depends on what you’re looking for but could suit many needs. My partner really liked the place when he first went, except for the WiFi service that he said was very spotty. He took me the 2nd time he went so I can gauge for myself what I thought of it, since I love to get outdoors and try different coffee shops in the area to work. I just found it very hard to work from here as it’s very noisy. Very hard to take a call here, much less and important one, but a great vibe for those just looking to socialize, catch up with a friend, get a coffee or something small to eat. If you’re coming to work, just be mindful that it can get loud with music and people talking around you, so be prepared to have your headphones to block it out if getting in some deep work. Prices can also be quite pricey, especially if eating something small. For 2 pastries, a latte, and an iced coffee, bill was $30, which coming from NYC, I was astonished to see in LI. It does have a lot of seating and outlets to plug into if needed. My partner even noticed someone having an in-person interview while there in suits and all, so hey I guess it can work for that too. All depends on what you’re looking for! Have a go at it.

Watered down & horrible drinks with ridiculously high prices, people only come for the ambience.

I took my family for brunch lunch the food was amazing my grandson had steak and eggs He loved it and he is a meat eater He made a comment he said better than Peter Lucas I had halloumi cheese scrambled eggs with avocado sandwich which it was huge and O my god delicious. My granddaughter had the chocolate croissant with hot chocolate she loved it. my daughter had oatmeal latte with spinach pie amazing she said. The place is so clean even though the place was very very busy the service was excellent We can’t wait to go back again try the rest of the dishes We highly recommend it

Amazing atmosphere, garden city is beautiful

The staff is extremely rude and uncleanliness is practiced here . The short guy always has a see you next Tuesday attitude if you know what I’m saying . The manager is even worse so I can’t even blame him . The drinks were disgusting and water down . The short guy put his nose in my drink to smell it .. very weird behavior
