Foolish Craig's Cafe

Absolutely love this place every time we go! Fresh food, fast service and absolutely lovely staff! My daughter is almost 2 and loves looking around at everything. Mom and dad actually got to enjoy a meal cause she was so busy coloring and smiling at the staff. Thanks again guys! We will be back!

After reading glowing reviews, we expected something at least above average. Whilst the venue was well decorated and the outdoor seating pleasant, we thought that our avocado toast (which had received plenty of glowing reviews on trip advisor) was mediocre at best. Though it was not a bad meal, it tasted plain and was in desperate need of some spices/seasoning. The actual amount of avocado on the toast was also disappointing with it being thinly spread. Service was good.

Always a pleasure to dine at Foolish Craigs. Food is wonderful, so is the service and atmosphere!

* Best Bacon in Boulder *I ate breakfast here almost every day for like two years straight. I'd call in advance to have it made, and when I arrived 10 minutes later, it would always just be ready. Took like 30 seconds to do the whole call, hitting the "breakfast" speed dial button was a regular a part of my morning routine. The results were 100% reliable and solid. Every single poached egg was perfect and delicious.And they'd always let me get away with a big extra to-go coffee for free.I don't know why the potatoes are lame, but I'd swap them out for fresh fruit, so I was always happy.Oh, and Craig himself is a cool dude! He's a friendly, fun, gentle and unassuming fellow, I genuinely liked him and the way he interacts with his crew. If I saw Lucille's and Craig's at a party, I'd definitely go hang out at Craig's...Neighborhood staple, 5 stars.

Ambiance was nice, feeling took on an upscale but casual "jean wearing" restaurant. The portions were quite small for the price & our waiter hovered which was so frustrating and made it difficult to have a conversation with my date, he wouldn't even let me pour my own water (flat seltzer water to be specific) Got pizza after our tiny appetizer, no cut slices.... I asked a passing waiter for a pizza roller, he told me they didn't have any & to cut it with my knife.... I pointed out the melted cheese on the pizza... he stared blankly...Cutting a pizza covered in melted cheese with a flat knife??? I said I'd wait for the pizza to cool.BUT the food was divine so I give the place 3 stars
