Food was fantastic. I would recommend anyone who wants to try authentic Mexican food to try this restaurant. The service was awesome and the atmosphere was beautiful. Everything was delicious.

Wow! We walked past and thought nothing more but friends said we should go. We're so glad we made this our last night in Austin dinner. Outstanding service, incredible food and stunning decor. Bookings are an absolute must as this place gets busy. Tim the waiter, awesome service! Personal recommendation, try the Fonda San Miguel take on Key Lime Pie. Back for a second visit, still as outstanding as the last time! Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from!

Yes it is pricy but so delicious!! I ordered off the appetizer menu & got quesadillas with huitlapoche & tinga!! Both delicious, 1st time trying huitlapoche & definitely would return just for that!! Had to request a spicier hot sauce at the table as the 2 provided were not hot but the 3rd that was brought to me made my companion sweat!!

Love everything about this restaurant- start to finish. Plant-based menu & classic Mexican dishes. We once attended a dinner with ‘Dos Hermanas’ and a feast from local Yucatán recipes. Perfect for an intimate dinner or family gatherings.

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant after reading reviews and recommendations. Chips and salsa were great! But if that’s all you want, might as well go to a local Mexican place. We ordered the most expensive dish, the carne asada tampiquena. We ordered it medium rare and it came out super well done, chewy, and burnt tasting. We didn’t eat the meat, and when our server came by towards the end we told them it was overdone and not good. They just said “sorry” and did not attempt to make our situation any better. For a place with such acclaim, I would expect better attention to detail!! Would not recommend to any Mexican food lovers.
