Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

Disappointed. It might have been a bad luck day, but the person supposed to take care of our table didn't ask if we wanted drinks until we called her half an hour into the meal. She also didn't give us the green-red signs that indicated we were getting the barbecue full experience, so it took a while to figure out why the meat was skipping our table. She never came back to ask if we needed anything else. We asked for more banana, that never arrived. Desserts were never offered. Not even the bill was easy and quick to get, which it's really not the norm in the Bay area. There were managers around that didn't notice or helped in any way. I could overlook the bad service if it weren't for the price. The house is losing the authentic menu - I am still surprised there were no rice and beans in a Brazilian restaurant. The food was ok. To close out a bad review in a positive way, the people serving the meat were the best, and tried to help our experience to get better.

I love going to Fogo De Chao, amazing meats and service. On my last visit with family and friends Guillermo (I wish I knew is last name) was above and beyond explaining how to enjoy our meats in a truly Brazilian style. Thank you so much! Can't wait to go back

The best place and meal.

Hello. My niece recently treated me to the Special promotion experience at FdCB which I hope will be a permanent thing. Because of my Brazilian restaurant experience on a cruise years ago, I was nervous about the numerous amounts of different meats. Honestly, I have reduced my meat intake and I favor more veggies, fruit, and healthier foods over meat. So, eating the much smaller bites of steak, chicken, and beef samosas was just right. We missed out on the deviled eggs. Also, the manager, Murillo, allowed my niece to taste a bite of lamb from the main menu. It was absolutely delicious. The staff, not all of them waited on us (Tony, Makayla, Flavia, Josh, Audrey, Jesse, and Murillo) were professional, personable, and attentive. The ambience is wonderful with stylish spacious decor and easy paid parking in the lot. I would only go back for the small bites and charcuterie tray and, perhaps for a special occasion.

Had yet another great explanation at Fogo De Chao in Emeryville. Great service, especially tonight with George. Never have we have such a great server at this location. He fully explains each cut of meat. As well as making such a great connection with us in the only few seconds at a time with us at the table. Outstanding service to say the least to George! Made a reservation for 7:15 and there was crowd waiting for a table. I showed up 15 prior to be early and waited pass 7:15 and when I asked if I was going to wait more than 15 minutes, the lady said yea without even making eye contact. I have an elderly mother who is experiencing back pain and we couldn’t wait anymore so we left. 10 minutes later they call me to let me know my table was ready!!! they need improve their customer service. It looks like they overbooked their reservations. They need to prioritize people with reservations and know the difference between people with reservations and those who don’t have a reservation.
