Had tenders, fries, Mac and cheese, and corn bread. Tenders were perfect, fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mac and cheese was great, cornbread was very flavorful. My husband and mom really enjoyed the green beans and fish as well, but I didn’t try them. Portion sizes were great as well! Will absolutely be going back

I’m from Louisiana, & we like our food a certain way. This place here has it & every thing else. 10/10 for sure. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Daytona Beach area.

Found home cooking in area on Google. Food was great and couldn't finish my portion. We are from south Georgia and wanted home cooking, didn't disappoint. Will be back next time! Kid-friendliness: Employees were very kind and respectful.

Every time I travel, I try family owned restaurants- especially soul food/comfort food places. I’ve been to 42 states thus far and THIS place is THE BEST tasting and freshest place - Hand Down. Trust the reviews on this one! Don’t let the low key appearance fool ya. Prices are good for the amount given. Didn’t need to add anything to the food! Food wasn’t too salty or overcooked. I hope the quality of the food stays the same and this place stays open for many years!
