A perfect date night in Chicago is to get a bottle from All Together Now, then walk over and drink it at Flour Power over focaccia and a perfect plate of pasta.
Delicious pasta and focaccia! I like a simple pasta shape of the day with arrabbiata sauce. It’s a small spot with four tables. If you’re going to walk-in, you just gotta roll the dice with a plan B in mind. It’s worth it. Sometimes you get lucky.
Wow, the guy know has to cook. The amount of flavor is incredible. Vodka sauce is the best I’ve had. Please have the focaccia with honey and burrata, and the tiramisu. It is not what you think + is delicious.
Best Restaurant in the neighborhood! Wilson is kind and generous. He cares so much about the quality of the food and the dishes. A true gem!
One of my absolute favorite pasta joints in the city. Chef makes everything daily from scratch, and the pastas always rotate. The focaccia and burrata with honeycomb is a staple that’s always on the menu- FOR A REASON! I can’t even describe how good that bread is. It’s BYOB and come early if you want to snag a table- it’ll be worth it. Chef is very kind and helpful with deciding what to order every time we visit.
Overpriced pasta that doesn’t even taste that good. Portions aren’t large either. I can get a whole pizza for the price of their pasta. Atmosphere? There’s none. The place looks like a cheap taqueria the size of my old studio back from college days. They don’t even have a restroom. I truly do not understand why this place is hyped up. I won’t be coming back here.
This place is amazing. The best pasta I've had in Chicago. Prices are reasonable, and the folks there are friendly. You need to check Instagram to see if they're open and what the menu is. Then you can order ahead for take out. Vegetarian options: Usually at least a few of the daily pastas are veg, and the ones I've had have all be excellent.
