Good but not great. Food tastes great but is a bit pricey for what you get. And while atmosphere is very nice, the service was okay. Small touches like timely refills and checking on the cook of the steak go a long way. Also, consider talking about the restaurant’s mission or distinction to new guests… get them excited about the changing menu or farm-to-table approach.

This is an amazing restaurant in all facets! From the drinks, to the food, to the desserts, everything is delicious! The rotating menu items make for a different experience each time, but the constant is that it will be a great one!

Food is amazing! It's in the bottom of a hotel though?

Very disappointed in our dining experience at Fleeting on Saturday night. I had family in town and wanted to try somewhere new and exciting. Unfortunately, coming here was a sad mistake. We had an amazing experience at Bar Julian earlier in the day (as I have every time I’ve been there), but we would have been better off going to the Applebees 25 minutes away. Drinks were definitely not as good as upstairs but no big deal, we were there to enjoy each other’s company so it would take a lot more to bring us down. For starters we got oysters that tasted like burnt butter and molasses, a goat cheese spread that just made me think of Publix, and a seriously delicious crab cake. The crab cake and the sourdough that came with the cheese is probably the only reason I didn’t cry at the end. When it came time for entrees, our server had forgotten to put in our sides so we had to ask again for them which never came. My brother got the pressed lamb which he said was fine, not my thing so obviously I didn’t enjoy that. But the steak we got tasted like it had finished cooking in a microwave with Stouffers’ creamed spinach dumped on top. All the more frustrating is seeing the beautiful wood fired grill in the open kitchen. We did tell the waitress we were unhappy with the steak and she took it off the bill but since we didn’t even have sides we were starting to get hangry and just wanted to get out of there. They did bring us a complementary dessert that wasn’t very good either but better than nothing. I really wish someone would’ve at least come and talked to us about everything that was wrong. I understand that sometimes things happen and we were more than patient since we really only cared about being together but this really brought us down. We left feeling neglected and I was completely embarrassed that the amazing dinner we were supposed to have was just a crab cake and a free chocolate peanut butter mousse cookie.

We dined here for Valentines Day. The prix fixe menu looked great on paper but the execution was fantastic! Every course was amazing. The flavor of every dish was so good. We barely had room for desert. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Went there for restaurant week with a group of 12. Small portions, cold dinners that had to be sent back, 22% added gratuity - even on bottles of wine. Entrees were nothing special. $60/pp! Could have made the crab pasta myself. Do not recommend. However Ombré on HHI was outstanding and half the price!

Was expecting run-of-the-mill semi-fancy hotel restaurant experience. Ended up being pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Pancakes might’ve been the best I’ve had in Savannah, crab cake Benedict was excellent as well.

My girlfriend and I booked a reservation at Fleeting for restaurant week and had their 3 course menu and a few side items as well. It was around $60 per person and, in my opinion, was worth it for the experience. The food was prepared with precision and got to our table in a very timely manner. The service was outstanding, and the food was out of this world delicious. You can tell they put a lot of care into the restaurant and it's food. Overall, I'd recommend checking them out for a special occasion or having a luxury date night dinner.

This dining experience was awful! Let's start from the beginning. We ordered the most expensive bottle of champagne on the menu, and after a long wait, the bottle shows up warm, partly, I am certain, because I saw it sitting on the counter next to the heat lamps at the server pick-up station for well over 5 minutes. It took another 15 minutes to cool it down. So, from the get-go, the rhythm of the whole experience is thrown off as we sat and waited. Additionally, our server seriously lacked both training and good manners, making no attempt to remedy the bad start and her answers to my menu questions were just a bit too snarky, We all couldn't help but feel like she just wanted to be somewhere else. Maybe she should be, as throughout the entire experience, she was M.I.A. with the restaurant less than half full. Where did she go? Can I get some water? Anyone here? Not the way to treat any guest. For dinner, I ordered the egg roll appetizer and these were certainly not egg rolls, but cigar-like crunchy things filled with minced chicken. Not good. My daughter ordered the apple salad with dressing on the side and asked to add chicken to the salad. Simple enough, but our server had to get an approval from the cook (which he was not able to do), and then the manager, to make sure that chicken on a salad was, in fact, possible (a request to add protein to a salad would be an automatic "yes!" at Denny's!). Luckily, it was possible and our table breathed a sigh of relief. When the salad arrived, the greens were swimming in too much dressing and the chicken looked and tasted like an unseasoned piece of boiled meat. Yum! Moving on, my wife and I both ordered the crab cakes-- the lady next to us had one and it looked great. The reality was that the presentation was beautiful, however, a sub-par dish at best in both preparation and flavor. The half chicken entrée is the star here, my son said it was wonderful! Batting .250 on the food. Long story cut short, the Fleeting is a beautiful piece of design but that doesn't matter if the rest is weak. An overhaul may be in order at every touchpoint! Do try Bar Julian, the rooftop bar at the Thompson, though, as the small plates, cocktails, service and the view are all great up there!
