Flavio Restaurant DC

Got to try the meatballs and the gnocchi. The meatballs were light, not dense at all and full of flavor. The gnocchi were huge compared to what I'm used to, but very delicious and comes with a rich cream sauce. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice, plenty of seating. Parking is a challenge but that's to be expected in Georgetown. Best to use a paid parking garage and then walk to the restaurant.

Came here by chance. The service and atmosphere are very nice. The food was really mediocre. Pizza was cold and didnt taste delicious. The lasagna was salty. Lemon chicken was not special. Even the cola was watery. The server was a very attentive young lady though.

We had a reservation for 13. When 4 of our party showed up, they refused to seat us unless 6 more showed up! Apparently their policy is to seat a party only when 80% showed up! Which is perfectly fine - but they did not bother to inform us of this the several times they called to reconfirm our reservation. Instead, after we arrived - we had 4 different restaurant staff emphatically explain that they could NOT seat us unless 80% of our party showed up. Service was appallingly bad. When we finally got our table - we were two chairs short, and it took them about 10 minutes to get us more chairs. We were short on table settings, and it took ages even to get drinking water. The waiter looked harried and stressed - it was a busy evening, but in the service industry, they need to deal with it! When we asked him to take a photo, he said he was too busy!!!! Really, now? The gratuity was added on, and was more than $58. For the service we received, we would have preferred not to pay any gratuity at all!

Located in a very nice part of town, the restaurant has a great menu and offers good value. The music is a bit loud and the staff looks very stressed out, which is unfortunate.

We had an excellent lunch at Flavio today. The Spaghetti Bolognese and Capellini Pomodoro were delicious and we enjoyed Aperol Spritz’s while dining outside!

The food is great, the best actually, but the desserts are beyond disappointing. Slimmest slice of limoncello l've ever seen and tiramisu looked like someone took a spoonful bite out of it and gave it to us. Also the gentleman who handed me my carry-out items said I cannot have any napkins because there are no plastic utensils(????)

Mediocre over priced food

Food was not bad. But service was horrible. I made a reservation in advance and still had to wait for 10 mins when I arrived. There was barely any service throughout our meal. In our check there was also a 3% recovery fee? Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Staff was abrasive and argumentative when my food came out in a different sauce than what was specified on the menu. Came here for my birthday and was easily the worst part of the entire day. Absolutely would not recommend at all.
