Flava’s Restaurant and Lounge

The drinks we're great a little sweet but good the customer service could have been a little bit better the music was definitely a vibe the wait was kinda long to order food I had the oxtail dinner sadly I was very very disappointed with the portion of the oxtails five pieces of oxtails for $22 I've been to several Caribbean restaurants and payed about the same and received a reasonable portion size overall the experience was good

I decided to come to Flavas tonight since I haven’t been here in a while. My server I believe a young lady named Fey was very pleasent. Alongside I came to support the DJ whom I know and I know a couple people were coming out to support at Flavas. He had stopped at my table for less than 5 mins and Shanae who I believe is a manager decided to charge me gratuity for 2 people since he “ sat down with me” to eat a meal they provided for him on his lunch. I also ordered a lemon drop, which I did not like at all. So I told the server she could take it back. I had no issue with paying for the drink, but charging me gratity for your staff sitting down with me for 2 songs ?!?! CRAZY. I don’t know if these bartenders are licensed but it’s a Hard NO for meI ended up going to the girl * manager for the night* shanae in which she had a nasty attitude, I asked her if we had a problem and she starting getting very talkative and also making remarks to another co-worker which I’m not the only person who seen. I love this because you never know who your serving, I invited one of my friends who have a HUGE following on IG for their food/ place promotion place & they did horrible. Just for my server I will provide a extra star. But I’ve been in customer service and management for 7 years and I’m disgusted,

If you see this review please save yourself the stress, This restaurant is not worth your cent! The servers to be honest were trying their best but you can tell this is a poorly managed restaurant. Manager/owner was rude and dismissive, literally placed an order 3 times and still didn’t get the order. overpriced food! They have so many negative reviews for a reason.

Food is good but very unprofessional and you’ll be waiting all day.

Food was terrible I asked for fried rice they gave me the rice at the bottom of the pan and it was salty and probably a old.

They said they were open, taking reservations, my friend even called and they said they were open. Pulled up at 10:30pm and they were closed...

i have been eating from Flavas for almost 2 years. I had to stop, their biggest problem is the lack of consistency in the quality and taste. The good days were getting extremely rare. I just got tired of wasting my money. I stopped going and will never return

I ordered an Oxtail with Rice and Peas through Ubereats. When I opened my order to eat, I was served white rice with four pieces of oxtail. I don't eat white rice, and the order was $23! Better off with Footprints. If you don't have certain items to serve, at least call the customer to have them make an informed decision. Don't make the decision for them.
