This place was ok, I got the jerk chicken and oxtail plate. The meat was good, but the sides of cabbage weren't as flavorful as I would have liked. It is definitely worth a try still. This was my first time in South San Francisco, so I'm not sure how many more spots like this are around. The beef pates were delicious, and my husband said the goat curry was delicious.
Okay so it’s Jan 20th, I’ve read some mixed reviews and was unsure if it was worth the drive. It is, it’s good and will satisfy the crave. The oxtails are delicious very tender good flavor and omg the jerk chicken is so flavorful and tender I was impressed first bite. The festivals are some of the best I’ve ever had, highlight of the meal. The jerk wings are good, crispy on the outside good tender flavorful meat. You can tell they fresh off a actual grill. I would of loved a bigger portion of the veggies they are good and flavorful. Mac & cheese is alright and unfortunately I’m not a fan of the rice and beans at all. They were mushy and over cooked. Overall 5 stars ⭐️ clean restaurant, courteous staff feels family owned and operated. I watched the game while I ate and enjoyed my experience. I will be back. Also to add I’m not from California or the Bay Area to be specific where it’s hard in my opinion to find good food and as a big fan of authentic Jamaican cuisine they are official. Highly recommended
The food here is delicious and they are super friendly. Kid-friendliness: My son loves Jamaican food. This is a must go for him.
Poor customer service. Didn’t get Mac n cheese i ordered. And then for $20 plus got 3 oxtails. Never coming back
Found this quaint neighbor restaurant by accident! Came across this gem while searching for a bakery. Flavas Jamaican grill offers soulful and authentic Jamaican entrees. Omgosh! the Jerk chicken with delicious house jerk sauce, served with rice and beans, plantains and sauted vegetables off the hook! Highly recommend the Jerk snapper and shrimp! Will definitely be back for more entrees. Price is reasonable and service needs more attention to guests.
