Flashback Diner

The hostest was not welcoming. Restaurant was basically empty and there no menus available. Our young server was very nice but we walked out before evening ordering anything as I had to kill a cockroach that was crawling on our table.

Went to dinner last night and there were about 3 ppl at the diner. The food took about 25 min and it was mediocre. Super pricey and slow service. Don’t recommend it.

Avoid at all cost

They are in transition. So, can't say how it will turn out. We were given a menu, however, we ended up getting eggs, as they did not have much else Hope they are successful.

*** Literal Kitchen Nightmare *** A friend booked a reservation for brunch here and he will never be forgiven. This is not to rag on the manager/FOH guy since he was clearly doing all the work for the 6 tables that were sat and had his hands full. but this place is a defunctland twilight zone apparition of a restaurant. in its current state it should not be attended by anyone. We sat and ordered drinks, got them 15min later. 15min later we were allowed to order food. 30min go by, nothing. I looked around and there was 6 tables and no one had any food. We were honestly convinced they might not actually have any food. When the food did come out about 45min after ordering it was hit or miss, the breakfast bowl was good but others got cold untoasted bread and bagels, blueberry pancakes without blueberries in the pancakes, all the ketchup containers were empty, and stuff floating in the maple syrup containers. Food was forgotten and then the manager tried charging for it anyways before being corrected. In response to the long wait, the mimosas and coffees were comped which was a nice touch. The kicker was the bathrooms, which clearly have not seen any attention in months. every surface was coated in grime and there was visible mold on the stall doors. Checks came 15min after we finished eating and was a 20min ordeal. with all of this, my brain could not comprehend how this place could afford to even keep the lights on, let alone pay employees, LET ALONE pass any sort of inspection. The manager kept mentioning an 'ongoing rebrand' so maybe they are desperately trying to improve. I honestly feel bad posting this because it's essentially kicking them while they are down, but the atrocious bathroom, food service hiccups are inexcusable and easily fixed if they actually cared. Our party basically lived out a kitchen nightmare. Menu way too big, overworked staff that could not even handle the basically empty restaurant, no music playing, disgusting restrooms, and botched service. Gordon would've imploded if he was in there.

The BEST meatloaf I have ever had ! This meatloaf is sliced perfectly, & tastes like ground steak seasoned to perfection! I substituted the mashed potatoes, for the Mac n cheese- which was too die for! Seriously- this meal was so good - we went back again, 2 days later & I got the SAME thing! Excellent service, nice staff, clean, and prompt! I'll definitely go here every time I am in Boca! ❤️

We had to give our order to the server 3 times. Then, the cook came out and asked if we’d ordered any food. We got up and left after 45 minutes… very hungry and frustrated. Very poor management. Completely disorganized. Very dirty bathrooms too. We also overheard the manager allow one of the workers to go home, because they didn’t think there was enough work for her. Really? Will never go here, again.
