Five Guys

I remember when the store was built in the late 2000s. Went there for the first time and was surprised that the menu is super simple. It is definitely pricey for what you get. Granted, they do overload the bag with fries and the burgers are thick as heck. During my 12 years in Denver, CO. I think I ate there about 4 times before moving to Minnesota in 2019. Each time I got the single burger instead of the double burger which is the default. Burgers were great as were the fries, but corporate greed is getting out of hand here even back in the day. I like someone in a review blamed Biden for the price of their meal, get a clue Biden didn't cause corporate greed here! I digress here. Vegetarian options: Only one item is vegan. Dietary restrictions: Their food is a heart attack waiting to happen. Lol. Parking: Good luck. Kid-friendliness: Kids love the peanuts that are free. Wheelchair accessibility: It is hard to navigate the store if one is in a wheelchair. Not very ADA friendly. :(

I got one bacon cheese burger. I spent $14. No fries. No drink. No fancy restaurant. No waiters. Nothing but a burger. That is insane. This thing made of gold? This better be the best damn burger of my life. Bidens economy. Good job you liberals.

Staff consist of old hippies and high school burnouts I'm surprised they are able to produce the items on this small menu. This place really needs to get it together food is not worth this much money for cheeseburger

Stopped to get food. Stood at the counter with two other people behind me waiting. No one there. Plenty of Mexicans in the kitchen. They can stare, but do they do anything? Nope. After about 5 minutes finally one of them decides “hey mahn, maybe i should go get who’s suppose to be up here taking orders”. Doesn’t say a word to me though. Gets her. She comes walking out and she apologized for having me and everyone else wait. Just kidding. She did no such thing. There’s issue number one. Why do companies hire this lazy good for nothings who act as if they are doing customers a favor by being employed? Next. I ordered Cajun fries. Pretty simple. They mess it up. I go and bring it up to them. The same woman felt bad, apologized and when the cook made me a new batch he also was very kind and apologized. Just kidding again. They both did not apologize at all and just acted like I’m being a bother for them not being able to do their job correctly. Five Guys, if you keep with hiring these lazy human beings and not having standards I’ll gladly drop you for a competitor. Get rid of the covid hires and the likely illegal hires and get some standards.

The burgers and fries are awesome; they really are. However, the price is not. The prices have been creeping up regularly; so much so that it forces the burger to compete in a different class. For almost $20 for a burger and fries, I can get something similar, but much better, somewhere else. So, unfortunately I consider the burger below average for your standard $20 burger and fries.

I love their hamburgers and fries, but I wish they didn't use American cheese. Or should I say "cheese". It would be five stars if they use cheddar.
