Fisherman's Corner

A hidden gem, had the crab cakes, they were so big I took one home in a box and enjoyed my second meal. Our server, who I think owned the place, took real pride in describing how good and fresh it all is. We arrived there around 5:15 and by the time we left there were quite a few people waiting to be seated. This is one of those few places that is so worth the wait. We’ll be going back!

If you can only order one thing..get the crispy shrimp appetizer. Large portion of shrimp fried to perfection. Shrimp was sweet and tender, breading was crispy and flavorful. The sweet chili sauce on top was amazing. The hubby ordered the fish po’boy and fries. Good amount of flounder and well executed. I ordered the crab cake BLT with fried okra for a side. The okra was good, but I wouldn’t order the crab cake blt again. The crab cake was mushy with way too much bread. More like crab stuffing/dressing than a crab cake. Everything else we had was done well. The service and atmosphere were both excellent.

Waiter offered good suggestions. Was attentive to table and very polite and personable. Atmosphere was small, quaint, intimate. The tablecloths and vases of flowers were a nice touch. The food was really very delicious. Bread pudding for dessert was decadent.

I know it’s a Fish place but the burger on the menu sounds great, ordered medium rare but got well done and we never heard the specials

We had burgers, they were some of the best I've ever had. I think the addition of ground brisket made the difference. Service was excellent even though we had a server in-training.

Always have great dining experience at Fisherman's Corner! Friendly staff greats you right away and waitress was very nice and attentive. Seafood is wonderful; crab cakes very flavorful and melt in your mouth. Wonderful place
