Fish & Things Poke Bar

By far one of the best pokes in town. Do it yourself with generous portions of amazingly fresh fish. Highly recommended

Fresh! FRESH! and..Fresh! I loved the poke bowls here! The poke was fresh and the toppings were fresh! The sauces were very flavorful. I had a regular bowl with spicy salmon and tuna as well as kimchi tako. For toppings I had crab and seaweed salad as well as ginger. Topped with furikake, spicy ponzu sauce, wasabi soy and spicy mayo. I would definitely come back here for my poke needs!!

Found this spot after hitting the breaks around Pacific Beach. Lovely owner & staff, great fresh poke and beautiful interior. Glad to see the Aloha spirit crossing the Pacific! Also awesome to see people making spam musubis the right way. Don’t miss out! Much Aloha

San Diego has a brand new poke spot that definitely does not disappoint! Fish and Things is serving up some of the freshest fish straight from Hawaii, and you can definitely taste the difference. Enjoy a variety of amazing options including a build your own poke bowl, which comes loaded with toppings and their house made sauces like the garlic sesame and yuzu ponzu. Their sushi rolls are absolutely delicious, as well as the tacos with sushi grade ahi and salmon. I also love how it’s close to the beach so you can grab your food and enjoy a lovely picnic. Poke bowl: fresh ahi tuna, salmon, hamachi topped with crab and seaweed salad, apples, edamame and crispy garlic Smokey salmon roll: fresh torched salmon on top of smoked salmon, cream cheese, imitation crab Ahi tacos: sushi grade ahi, cabbage, avocado in a crispy shell Salmon tacos: perfectly cooked Scottish salmon, cabbage, avocado, crispy shell Ahi burger: seared to medium rare, caramelized onions, cabbage, tomatoes, spicy mayo Salmon burger: crispy flakey salmon, caramelized onions, cabbage, wasabi aioli .

Ordered take out, was done quick! The food was very fresh and delicious. The poke tacos were absolutely amazing.

The variety of food offered here made it very enjoyable for everyone in our family! My kids loved the panko shrimp and the poke bar where they were able to select various fresh fish and toppings. The adults had sushi (beautiful presentation), spam musubi, ahi crispy tacos, and fried squid legs (my favorite - perfect crisp on the outside and super tender inside)! It was an awesome meal just a few steps from Pacific Beach!
