FiRE + iCE Tahoe

This place is incredible. It is pricy but you get what you pay for. We came in with a group of 25 and they were able to accommodate us. The cooks were engaging and the interaction was a lot of fun. I wish they had a few more hazy IPAs on tap but they get. Pass because of the overall experience. This is my new "must go" experience when I to Tahoe.

Okay so look: This is NOT a "Buffet." We wanted a buffet and the google info tells you it's a "buffet" but it REALLY ISN'T. It's one of these places where you pick your food and put it in a small bowl and two guys in a circle cook your food on a big iron wheel with a gas fire underneath it. It wasn't worth the almost 100 dollar cost (we each had one beer each $$$). We will look elsewhere to eat when we return to Lake Tahoe. Now it IS right by the Gondola so that's a cool thing, but the environment was very tired (wall was peeling) and there just was "something missing" in the vibe. Even the music was off. It was expensive, not that good and not worth it to us. Sorry. The cooks were really sweet tho. Great Guys.

Tried to go to Fire & Ice for a drink and a pretzel after a long day of skiing. Not allowed to enter the restaurant with ski boots on so tried to order from the bar window. After waiting 20 minutes and still 3rd on line, I left. Saw several employees around but no one seemed to care about the customers on line at the window. Can’t comment on the food but the service is awful and won’t be going back.

This place is awesome. Great food at a great price for the Heavenly area.
