Firehouse Subs Trussville

Both ordered Hook & Ladder sandwiches with no mayo. As good as any sandwich you get anywhere else. I don't like anywhere that ask you to round up your check for whatever their cause is...There is a box sitting at the register for donations and if I choose to give, my business. Don't like being "prodded"...Anyway, my gripe/my opinion.

Parking: No bigger than what these restaurants are, there is ample parking. This one is the same as all the other firehouse subs location I have personally patronized, in a shopping mall.

I dislike pickles, hate the smell and taste. I ordered no pickle and verified with the cashier and my receipt. I take my to go order and get home to find a large pickle inside my sandwich box and the pickle juice is throughout the sandwich. I really don't understand how a simple one sandwich order with no special additions can't be correct. Very disappointed.

Hard to beat a sub at Firehouse

Very good food and Brett was very helpful with our order. He was also working and cleaning up the entire time, the other staff were busy as well. This is good management . We will be back

This is how you run a restaurant! Or any other business really. I'll try to make this fairly short. I really like Firehouse Subs in general. Had a great experience first time at this location. Second time, it was still positive. But one of my subs was a little cold. I wasn't going to even say anything about it. But I got an email a day or so later asking about my experience. I gave generally positive marks, but I did mention the sandwich. The next day I got an email from the location General Manager. Not a cookie cutter corporate email. An ACTUAL email. He apologized for the experience and offered to make it up to me. I came in a day or so later. Met him in person, shook his hand. I got no pushback. No attitude. It was a great experience. They have won my patronage for as long as I live near by. The staff is always friendly and polite. They are always working. Orders are made in a timely manner. You really could not ask more of a fast food location.

Absolutely the worse experience!!! They complained about being short staffed but had plenty of staff working. One employee swept the same spot for over 5 minutes in the same spot. One employee, was more worried about the music playing to the point decided to walk the whole story trying to figure out where the beep in the music came from. The other employee would start to make sandwiches but would disappear. They kept complaining about customers coming in saying how short staffed they were and how the customers should read the “short staffed” sign outside. I feel bad for the business owner.
