I went here yesterday with my family for my uncle's birthday. In short; the bread was good but just not enough for a group of 7 men. They took too long to bring more bread, appetizers, and main dish. Small portion of steak. Undercook pasta. Great sauce on pasta. Steak cooked to the correct temp. The atmosphere was dim lights inside, natural lighting through large windows. The sun shined in my eyes. Pretty full seats. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, yet slow service. The salad was basically lettuce. They brought more dressing yet took it away when I went to the restroom. I replaced the chicken in the pasta with the steak. The portion was too small for the pasta size and I was left with just pasta in the end, so I combined the lettuce with it. Still no better. I would hate to have ordered a steak alone and had gotten that portion. Overall, the experience was average. The food is too expensive for the experience I had. Would NOT recommend this place. I did not pay. If I was paying I would have walked out while I waited for more bread and entrees. The food took about 45 minutes to an hour to arrive. The drinks arrived quickly, however. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed leaving this place because I wasn't full because I didn't finish my meal because it was just pasta and lettuce in sauce after the small portion of steak was gone. Luckily I was with family and wasn't paying because I would have probably not made it to the entree because of how long it took. If not then, definitely after the food arrived. I would have taken one look at that steak portion and immediately gotten up and walked away. Because even if they were willing to bring me another portion, I wouldn't have been willing to wait any longer. My other uncle also mentioned that his chicken was too tough. Definitely NOT a memorable and enjoyable experience for me. I should NEVER Leave a restaurant hungry after an entire meal!
