Big brain recommendation from r/greenpoint. What a fantastic local spot. The ambiance is lowkey, cozy, and not overly try-hard. We had the oysters, so fresh and yummy. Ceasar salad had a very savory and punchy dressing. Steak frites really hit the spot. The roast chicken surprised me and was possibly the best roast chicken I’ve ever had, so tender and well seasoned. And then we got the lemon tart dessert which was so balanced, not too sweet. Overall this place has well-executed classic dishes, impressive considering how tiny their kitchen is. I would come again for sure.
This place is superb. Not too many tables so there can be a wait at times. Have eaten here a couple times. Once was good; Another time was outstanding. The chef has a excellent understanding of simple flavors and ingredients well executed; they really let seasonal produce shine. Would love to return to see what they do in spring/summer!
