Filippi's Pizza Grotto Little Italy

Visited Filippi's from out of state. An older server named "Stephanie" was rude, called us cheap after we ordered a light meal (due to lack of veggie options). We won't be back- as much as we liked dining next to a large, open garbage can.

Ohh yeah very good and it's the original Flippi's spot, we've been to 3 of these locations now.

Wonderful food....awesome service!!! Kid-friendliness: Server was great with our 6 yr old grandson...food portion was huge for a kids serving...he will get at least 2 more meals from it!!

Food was just fine. The lady who took care of our table was pretty much rushing us to get out, taking our plates before we even finished our food and giving us the check without us asking for it. When we paid, we told her to charge a 10% tip, and she said that the least amount she could take was 13%, so apparently it's not up to the costumer the tip's amount anymore.

My husband and I shared a pizza, it was delicious. Took some back to the hotel. The little store is cute, bought a bottle of wine and spicy peppers that hubby tried on his pizza. Definitely recommend. Were going back before we leave sandiago.
