Figo Wine Bar

Place was shoulder to shoulder and we were told after an hour we needed to be done because our reserved table time had ended. Later we were told this was an error we actually had another 15 min because they're tables are reserved for 90 min. I recall this being a thing during the pandemic but this place was packed so there were no pandemic precautions going on otherwise. If I had known ahead that there was a strict 90 min table time I would not have made the reservation as I don't like to be rushed. Or a may have pre-ordered so I actually had 90 min to eat and drink. They also gave me Humbolt Fog which is a goat cheese in place of gorgonzola.

Freaking delicious! Ari was so welcoming, warm, and friendly. Attentive and took our dinner from great to amazing! Get the brussel sprouts, meatballs, tortellini, and the steak. He recommended it all (and topped us with a rec of prosecco) and didn't disappoint. So so so good.

Our bartender Miriam is amazing!!!! We have been to Chicago many times and this place was by far our absolute favorite place here!!!! Ari is a bourbon enthusiast and one of our newest friends in the Windy City. Arancini with truffle cream sauce ….. OMG!!!!! Try it!

Staff are really friendly and very helpful! Food was top notch. Pork belly was my favorite. Happy hour 5-6 (mon-thur) $8 wine, $9 cocktails. Paid parking right outside. Aryeh the manager is a legend!

This place is a Lakeview gem! Great food and atmosphere, would highly recommend as a date night spot or a dinner out with friends. Thanks for a great experience!

A group of us went for leisurely shared plates dinner and to sample wine before going to a show. The service was beyond horrible. First, we were told that we had to order all food at once and we couldn’t order more or dessert — first time I’ve gone to shared plates (or any restaurant) and told I could not order food. We were also then told we had to leave in 10 minutes because there’s a 70-min max on tables. So it’s shared plates and wine — at a sprint. I found the food to be seasoned oddly and woke weak — but it’s possible my opinion was colored by the $600, absolutely fabulous, dinner I had at Swift & Sons last night. I definitely will not return to Figo.

Went here for dinner. Didn't like the atmosphere but the food was mostly good. My problem was with how they packed the tables. It feels cramped as the place is pretty small but packed with tables. It's also extremely noisy for that reason (and for the fact that the acoustic is bad). The service was good and quick We had the Arancini, Bruschetta and Watermelon salad for starters. The Bruschetta was excellent and the Arancini was good, but the Watermelon salad was a really bad dish (I'm angry with how bland and uninspired that salad was. Just add some salty cheese or acidity). We had the Cauliflower and Tagliatelle, both were good. We also had some drinks and ended up with a $100 not including tip and tax. Even though I enjoyed the food and service it's unlikely that I'll return. The noise and crampiness were too much for me.
