Fiesta Azteca

They DO have Birria Tacos. It isn’t on the menu- just ask your waiter. Comparing to a Birriaria (all they do is Birria) where we were first introduced to this deliciousness in San Antonio, TX… well this isn’t quite the same. For one, here it is loaded with onions and while I like them, so many onions takes over the flavor. The flavor was just missing the depth but we did finish the plate. Also, they serve it with a side of soup instead of aux jus for dipping. I suppose that is their way to make it an actual side. The little cup is hot sauce. We came here just for the Birria so I couldn’t attest to the rest of the menu.

Great food and staff. And live music Thursday nights are the best!!!

Honest Review. I've lived by this restaurant for 18 years. This place has really gone downhill. Service is spotty. You will be forgotten by your server, for the most part. Even when the restaurant is empty. They'll try to keep your change. They are trying to cut corners. If you order take out, no matter how many dinners you order, you only get one small bag of chips and small container of salsa. They often do not include sour cream, guacamole, or cheese to your orders. If they do.. it will be the smallest amount. You get far less food getting take out than if you eat in. The food itself? It has no flavor. They do not use any seasonings. (If they do, we cannot tell. Not even salt and pepper) We will be happy to get another Mexican restaurant in this vicinity.

Great service and food

This was our second time there, but we've ordered from them through DoorDash on several occasions. The first dine in experience wasn't so great. The wait to get a table was long and they appeared to be short staff. Our waitress was always in a hurry if you took a pause to look at the menu while ordering she was gone. They also appeared to be out of soap in the women's bathroom so I was wondering how they were washing their hands. I used my own personal hand sanitizer to get the job done. This 2nd time around was so much better. The soap in the bathroom thing was user error. I realized that it wasn't an automatic dispenser, you actually have to push it back to get soap. The food was still good no complaints there. Their strawberry margarita was on point. However, the strawberry chunks in the margarita made it hard to drink. You will need a larger straw to drink it. Bring your own personal bubba straw if you have one to help drink it. It prolonged the drink so I guess that is a plus and saved me some money. When I finally got to the end used a spoon to eat the leftover strawberries. Last but not least, I was totally surprised by the live entertainment. It lighten up the mood and it was a very enjoyable dine in experience. This was on a Thursday. The first time we went, they did not have this. Maybe it was new or something they've been doing. Overall good food and good music is a plus for me.
