First time trying this as I keep seeing this place pop up all around the city, so I was intrigued. They had recently updated their menu so I got the Bueno Bowl 2.0 ($14). Not sure what makes this the 2.0, but this one consisted of Brown Rice, Avocado, Black Beans, Tomatoes, Tortilla Strips, and Chipotle BBQ. The rice was pretty dry, but was helped thanks to the chicken being on top with the sauce dumped on top. Overall tastes good, but I was not full after I was finished. I guess that means I'm getting ice cream somewhere else or a pastry somewhere.
I really enjoyed the food here. I got a Mo' Miso bowl with a tea and lemonade and ate every bite. There are festive decorations up for the holidays and the staff are nice.
Bueno bowl is the best!! They’re fast and the food is flavorful and good for you.
Food is healthy and comes at a fair price (for NYC)
It’s like eating healthy soul food . This is the latest restaurant that I have been sharing with all of my colleagues and family .
First visit, many anticipated in the future. I love rotisserie chicken and this place knocks it out of the park! Generous portions, juicy delicious chicken, and a really resonable price for mid-town lunch. There are many dishes and sides to choose from, and they have corn bread, hello!!!
The chicken boasts a succulent and tender texture, but unfortunately, the kale salad is let down by an excessive dressing that leans towards the overly sweet side.
