Best coffee shop to study at in Dallas comfortable and great tasting coffee! Try their earl grey latte!!!
I've been to other locations of Fiction, however, this one is by far the worst with punctuality. I was told by other customers that a building manager informed them there was no one available, but that someone would be coming at 8am. The hours for this location clearly states 6am, yet when I arrived at 7am, there were no baristas and there continued to be no baristas until around 8am. I recommend if you'd like a cup of coffee to come about two hours after your original planned time or go somewhere else.
Some of the best coffee I have ever experienced. Breakfast tacos are always a nice plus when they have vegan options.
Inside is very nice and inviting. Service is good and polite. Coffee is very nice. Great place to sit back and rest
I'm bias because the staff LOVES my dog. Every time I bring her in they show her the most adoration. They love animals indoors and outdoors. Also my first experience there, a patron was making racist remarks aloud, and the staff politely diffused the situation and personally apologized to me and my friend of color. LOVED how they dealt with it and commend any employee who publicly stands against negative rhetoric. But the real tea... I specifically go for an iced black tea or earl grey tea with lavender syrup. They hands down have the best tea compared to any shop in D.E. & Downtown. My partner gets an iced red eye with milk & sugar and it's also very good! I wish they offered a larger size for drinks but the pricing is good (~$8 for the tea and red-eye). The pastries are soft and flaky! My fav. But they only have tacos from TacoDeli which leaves them with little-to-no savory food options when those run out. Tons of free parking, free wifi w. purchase/receipt (for 2hrs -- used to be unlimited before), tons of VERY comfortable seating indoors and outdoors, and a "never too busy" atmosphere. People sit and do work, or chitchat, take video/audio meetings, etc. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good coffee in the D.E. neighborhood. I definitely put them ahead of Merit and Mokah (and I do like both of those places)
The atmosphere is really nice. They have a big open space for people to lounge and drink their coffee or work on a short project. Parking is free for 2 hours and you have to pay afterward. Otherwise, it's a great place and location.
