Wow, so crowded and yet such a fun place. All tables are very close to each other. Its loud and fun. The food was amazing, and service was great. The buratta and prosciutto were delicious. Fresh and yummy. We took 3 pastas - truffle, gnocchi ragu, and spaghetti with tomatoe sauce. All fabulous. The veal lemone was tasty too. All simple and perfect. Loved it

This is one of my favorite Italian places in New York City. FYI: You can only make reservations via the phone. The pasta is all made in-house and is delicious. There are usually a few meat dishes which are fantastic to balance out the pastas. Appetizers are great picks as well. My recommendation would be to get one appetizer (big fan of the burrata), then go hard with two pastas, and have a protein to finish off. They are also well known for their wine list, which is literally a crate of wines. I’m a big fan of their house red and white in the half bottle (jug). This is a great spot for a date with someone new or the love of your life, or for friends or family.

We loved this cute little Italian spot! Really brought us back to our trip to Italy. The food was amazing, incredible service, what place in NYC offers free bread AND house wine these days? We highly recommend the duck ragu, truffle pasta, and baked pear dessert! 10/10 would recommend this spot for a romantic or intimate evening with friends.

An incredible cozy Italian restaurant in the East Village! This is the second location to their original spot in the West Village, and this one does take reservations. Came for friday night dinner and got the burrata, truffle pasta & wild boar ragu. Everything was exceptional—with the pasta all being handmade, you could really taste the dish’ freshness. The wine selection is also great! I would give the burrata an 8/10–the burrata is definitely fresh and is a classic appetizer, but nothing too outstanding. Don’t get me wrong, I would still order it next time, but I am told that the prosciutto appetizer is to die for. The truffle pasta rates at 9/10–you can really taste the truffle without it being too overpowering or creamy. They also shave truffle over the dish once served. The wild boar ragu comes at 8.5/10 for me. While it was also very good, I thought the pasta noodle was a bit thin for my liking. Service is good, but note, the restaurant gets incredibly busy, so don’t expect the waiters to be available to you all the time! Ambiance is warm & bustly—it can get pretty hectic and loud, so take note of that if you’re looking for a quiet, intimate space. Overall, an excellent restaurant that I would definitely put at the top of my list of Italian places!
