I just don’t like what’s been done with the place. I’ve been coming here for years and years and years with family with friends and more. I’ve always enjoyed the food and the cozy atmosphere with the dim lights private booths. Since it reopened there’s been changes that just don’t feel like it use to, and not in a good way. The food is still amazingly good, but the place inside now looks like a cheap modern lunch cafe…. It’s very bright, French art and paintings that don’t compliment each-other, modern light fixtures, smaller tables so the food dishes don’t fit, and a highly dysfunctional seating arrangement. I get the idea to be more like some restaurants in Europe …but it’s too open, you’re involved in both parties conversations next to you , and it’s uncomfortable. Doesn’t feel intimate or warm / cozy anymore. Doesn’t match up well with the food being served. The food is absolutely amazing- but i did notice they downsized their portions and that’s super disappointing considering the price stays the same. The service was also a bit off but that could’ve just been - pardon me for being mindful to the circumstances- the fact they reopened and things are spread out differently- The food took almost a full hour, our waiter didn’t fill up our water but i get it - they were busy- but it’s just little things that I’m not use to that they changed about the place and the energy is a lot different. I don’t think I’m going to be coming back for a while unfortunately, and if so then takeout might be the option. :(
I wish the new owners had not remodeled this restaurant to look and feel like a fast-food lunch cafe. The atmosphere is nothing like it used to be and this is a shame considering the cost to dine here. The food is still excellent though smaller portions.
Their home fries were disgusting and hard as a rock freezing in there lousy food they should pay us to eat there now people should know how it's disgusting to eat
I had eaten here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, where I had a Shrimp pasta I still think about daily. We decided to go back Saturday evening. We were very impressed with the two dishes we tried and the outstanding service and care. This is a legit Italian place. Prices are fair and worth every penny, you’ll be wanting to lick your plate! We come for special occasions but may make it a regular stop.
Their Filet Mignon was amazing
Was finally able to experience the newly renovated FERRUCCI’S. We’ve been customers forever and were a bit nervous with all the changes that we have heard of. It was absolutely perfect. We had our old standard’s the mozzarella appetizer was just as it always was(which is amazing) had the carbonara as well and it was perfect. We also had the special (Lobster Ravioli) and it was so delicious. Of course we had a great bottle of wine from the great wine list. The service (Felicia) was great. Do yourself a favor and go and enjoy a great meal in a newly renovated Ferrucci’s (you won’t be disappointed) thanks for keeping Mikes established menu while adding a few more good items. Looking forward to going back soon!
Our favorite was mozzarella ball, not sure what your new chef is doing by turning it into a hamburger patty yuk! Used to be our weekly date night sadly won’t be coming back it’s not good at all
My fiancé and I stopped in for a cocktails last night and to check out the newly updated Ferruci's. They've done a great job with the interior! We sat at the bar, ordered a gin sour and a whiskey smash, both bartenders were super friendly. They let me in on some scoop- happy hour plans are in the works! Stop by and check this place out for yourself :)
