I love Fermenter. Delicious food & beverages. I'm bummed they're closing but look forward to what the future holds.

While visiting Portland, we were blown away by the food and beverages at Fermenter. So much so, we went back for brunch the next day. Since our visit, we've recommended Fermenter to any friends visiting Portland.

Amazing food (tempeh burger was amazing), great drinks and friendly staff!

Fermenter is our favorite restaurant in Portland and one of the things that made us happy we moved here — I’ve been to a lot of vegan spots across the country but this place is special. Food has always been exceptional, but so has everyone we’ve interacted with. So so so sad to see this concept come to an end, but can’t wait to see what they do next!

The food at Fermenter is incredible! Unique variations on your favorite meals. Wel worth the price, and the price isn't even crazy. Employees seem to be taken care of. I'd Reccomend to any vegan or non vegan alike. Get your ferment on! Ps: try the kombucha...

I love veggie-based sandwiches/burgers and this place has some of the best. I’m not vegan, but they just make great food.

We visited Portland and this was top of our list for spots to eat. I had a feeling it would be the best burger I’ve ever had and it truly was. I dream of it often… I ended up eating here twice in 6 days. They also have really awesome wines and the staff know their stuff! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I hope we can make it back soon!

Updated review- have continued to drive here 4 plus hours round trip just for lunch or to have dinner and a hotel stay. Celebrated 7 years sober there last year. Came for probably the last visit to fermenter today, everything was fantastic, and the staff was amazing and kind. I will miss fermenter dearly, but look forward to what's next. Thanks for putting so much care and thought into your product, it is 100 percent worth every dollar Came here to get dinner to surprise my wife with for her 40th birthday. I mentioned to the person working that I was filling our hotel room with vegan treats for my wife before she got off work and they put a cookie in the bag with a happy birthday note! Everything was amazing, especially the beet Reuben!!!! Loved the kefirs too! Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!!!!! Thanks so much for the great dinner and the small act of kindness with the cookie, it helped make my wife's birthday extra special!
