Food tasted good but most of it was incredibly spicy with nothing on the menu even mentioning spice at all. A bit disappointing. Even what we were told wasn’t spicy turned out

Ordered whatever our waiter recommended. Everything was amazing. Such fun dishes. Every dish - Textures flavors and experience 12/10 all around. And the cocktails were fantastic. Definitely will be back.

Expensive dishes and the food was bland. I had ordered the chicken biryani and achari salmon. The biryani lacked any sort of flavor or spice and the salmon was barely seasoned. There are other places which serve better Indian food at half the cost. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

We made a reservation at 7.30 on a weekend and when we got there at 7.25 the place was packed with people and people waiting for tables . We were told to wait for our table even with a reservation . People after us got their tables . We then got our table at 7.50. The glass of water was totally forgotten and we had to remind the server to bring it to us . The manager/owner seemed over the top trying to get us to a comfortable spot . The food came in really late which was almost 1 hr after we got in . The portion sizes were so less for the price tag . We had to order more which took even longer . One dessert was $14 which was just 4 bites . There was no place in the table for more than 2 plates and 4 glasses for a table of 4 people . Cramped corner table that we were totally not okay with for a fine dining experience. Overall bill was $200 plus for an unpleasant uncomfortable fine dining experience Overall never going to go again and will not suggest to anyone going !

We tried this place one night with some friends, we were greeted after standing by the door for about 10 minutes, seems that management was having some kind of meeting with the employees, during open hours not like we got there before they opened. Once we were seated it took about another 10 minutes to get someone to agree that they had our section, finally one gentleman said he would take the table and took our drink order. Our friends order a wide variety of items, they were tasty but not Indian food tasty. We found this place to be a fusion restaurant. The food presentation was very nice and the food was good but for the price I would not say great. We found the service lacking for an upscale restaurant to be lacking. We will probably not return. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. If you like fusion food that is very costly then try this place but if you want true Indian food try somewhere else. Vegetarian options: They do have a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes which you can chose.

I have rarely been this conflicted about a review! On the one hand, the food was imaginative. Indian dishes are used as a starting point, and the chef who dreamed up the menu takes it from there. As an experiment, this is 5 stars. As a satisfying, filling meal, it left a lot to be desired. Background, three of my firanghee colleagues wanted to try Indian food. Two for the first time, and 1 who had been to the typical buffet previously. We decided to give Firenghee a try, with a plan to order several chaats and small plates to get a broad sample. Seating was fast, service was as expected. On the positive side, the food was very creative. Pani Puri trio, for me, used to the real deal street food, was barely OK. My colleagues loved the experience and combination of puri, sev, and some liquids. I thought Mint Jal Jeera was passable. However, the Blackberry and Pineapple "panis", in my opinion, a liberty taken too far! Papad and chutneys were OK. Mango/Tomatillo Murabba ended up being the hit. My colleagues loved it, and used the last bit of papads to scrape up each of the chutneys. Then, on to the small plates. Emphasis here is on *small*. These are tiny, tiny portions, especially given the price. Since there were four of us, and we wanted to try dishes that had three pieces (Malabar Crabcake, Lamb seekh), our waiter offered to add an extra piece to each dish. Very Welcome. Of course, we knew, it would increase the cost, and it did by 25% for each dish. Dessert was exquisite - I was puzzled as to how gulab jamuns could be incorporated into a cheescake - wow! it was exceptional! Tender Coconut Panna Cotta flavors were overwhelmed with the berries, however. The fruit sorbet that came with it was excellent! Food tasted good, very small portions, especially given the price. Indian dishes are the base canvas on which the chef has added layers of interpretation. Go for the experience. Get an In-N-Out burger to fill up later! :) :)
