The workers was so professional and warm. The food delicious and the place was very very clean .
The food was okay, but the service was good and very accommodating. The bruschetta was tasty but one-dimensional. Mostly just seasoned tomatoes on grilled bread. My linguine alle Vongole was not well seasoned and had very little or white wine. Also a small portion of pasta (which is a cheap ingredient) and 7 very small clams didn't justify the $32 price.
Unusually tasty Italian cuisine even by the high standards set by NYC Italian restaurants. Uniformly excellent. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta is available.
Appetizers and soups were the best part of our meal, however, there was a lack of seafood in the calamari and the pastas were really basic.
We were in the area (brooklyn cat cafe!) and decided to eat here and I’m glad they did. Everything is fresh and service was fast and friendly. We particularly love their olive oil which apparently is made in house! I got the spaghetti arrabiata, my boyfriend got the carbonara, and we shared a side of brussels sprouts. So nice to have a special meal on an impromptu night out.
I had rigatoni with salmon. Delicious. Rosé wine. Dessert Lemoncello cake. Wonderful meal, great service. This is a neighborhood restaurant that always comes thru.
