Sudden dip in quality. Stale kheer
Great dinner buffet but prices are higher than before for the buffet. The are now 22.50 for the person which includes limited dessert and full service drinks.
We had been to lunch here and right off the experience was underwhelming To begin with, when we walked in there was a certain smell in the restaurant. The food itself was very bad and the service was decent although at times there was no one available to serve. To elaborate on the food, the paneer butter masala subji and malai kofta had the same base. The kofta was very hard. The naan was thin like a roti. The curd was spoilt. Indian food is so flavorful and this is not it.

The food in the dinner buffet was bad. It's generally pretty hard to make Indian food this bland but they did it. The naans were soggy, the veg korma tasted off, the butter chicken was not seasoned or spiced. The lack of cleanliness and ambiance does not make up for the food. They seem like a hard working small business but the food needs to be better.
This place I have to say has amazed me as I don't go to indian restaurants as much because I feel that I can have it better at home. The first time I went there was during buffet time and on yelp they had a special where it was 50% off on buffet which got me in the door of this place. What I can say is that the service is great and there buffet choices are better then other place where they have several main dish you can choose from vegetarian to meat. And I feel that having this kind of verity makes the buffet that much better, my favorite thing on there buffet would be butter chicken and from this place I fell in love with butter chicken now when I ever go to any indian restaurant and order butter chicken but no other place compare to there butter chicken. Because when I go to other places there butter chicken tastes like they use tomato paste then actual tomato which kills the flavor. So if your a fan of butter chicken try there's you won't be disappointed. And now I go here often and they have another location on A street so check them out they are worth the shot.
In terms of taste, there is no authenticity. It is edible, but it is not satisfying. Service was OK, except that we did not have tandoori chicken for very long although we waited. Naan is not freshly served. It is hell of an expensive for the service and food we get. I believe any Indian buffet in an actual Indian restaurant can be better than this.
