Horrible food and horrible service! Order a salad with my entrée and was shocked to find a big dirty bug inside, I asked for the manager and a person by the name of Marco (Rude and horrible owner) came over. Explained what I found and showed it to him, he did not seem to care at all or have any sympathy about this nasty bug ruining my evening and appetite. Marco was very rude and did not even offer to bring me another salad at the bare minimum. IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED RUDELY AND ENJOY EATING BUGS, GO HERE!
Service was excellent, and food was very tasty drinks during the happy hour we very well made and delicious.
Great place to dine. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Price is reasonable and the food is tasty.
Tried to visit on 9/4/2023 and was disappointed to find this restaurant no longer exists. We visited the site on a Monday evening. Favela Cubana was not there, not even as an old abandoned storefront or empty shop. Instead of Brazilian-Cuban cuisine there is a new Asian fusion spot in its place: Calle Dao. Sadly we were craving Brazilian food and had to go somewhere else
Great food. Helpful staff. My family and our American cousin visited in August. The brisket meat just melted in our mouths.
I ordered a lemonade, papas rellenas, and tostones. The lemonade surprised me and is probably the best I’ve ever had. The food was delicious, too. I came in the afternoon on a Thursday, so it wasn’t busy. It was peaceful with a great atmosphere. Loved the music playlist and great service.
