Fat Cap Smoked Meats

I always recommend this place, I had not had a bad experience till today. I received my order while at work. And man were the rib tips tuff and extremely chewy. Returned them in person to show them how I received them and the female Hispanic owner with acne on her face started going off on me … I was in shock and amazed at her attitude and all the swearing, cursing and foul language she used was very rude to me. I received this dry burnt meat and she was telling me it was my fault for leaving it in my car . I was like, what ?! I received this food like this and wanted to show you in person and she was way more upset than I was about it. The worse part is I never even had the food in my car so now she’s throwing blame and shame my way. When I asked her name , I couldn’t even understand what she said so I asked for the owner and she made me aware , she was the owner.. I was in so much more distress because I can’t even complain on her to nobody so I made her aware of the online reviews… she started cursing and swearing even more. At this point she had already handed me the rib tip replacement with less ribs and no bread . I’m definitely not going back and not recommending this location to anyone because her attitude was way out of line and way too much to deal with. She needs to work in a factory not in the food or customer service field. Good luck mam . I will miss the times I had good meat and service. It only takes one bad customer experience. I can deal with faulty food if you fix it. But that attitude is not worth my time let alone my money .

Food is amazing! Could not believe how tender and full of flavor too. Highly recommend!

We are from out of town and this place is amazing! If you go there try the corn bred. Amazing area for a meal and good for a small group.

Absolutely amazing food! We come from Michigan, and there are few places like this with this good of an environment and food.

I’ve been here a handful of times and the food is consistently fanatic. Most recently my wife tried for the first time and she loved it! Great attitude and takes care of customers! Must try.

Great rib spot skip the chew just swallow brisket off the chain..Everything falls off the bone..

The staff was super friendly and welcoming!!! The food was great and the prices were super reasonable!! Definitely would recomend!

Fat Cap has good barbecue

In the past 24 hours we've been here twice, both times our meals were outstanding! We've had turkey tips, rib tips, pulled pork, brisket, burnt ends, broccoli salad, and French fries. I suggest everything!!! To top it all off, we were given fresh beignets...free! Service is always delightful!!!
