Worst experience I had here. Although the gentleman was nice, they took too long to help us, we waited 30 minutes before we were greeted. When we said we we're ready to order the food, he said we don't have much so I will just make something really good for you. Fasika is an Ethiopian word, the food was no where near Ethiopian. We received a bunch of potatoes and other vegetables that had no flavor at all. As a matter of fact it was not Ethiopian, it was a mixture of something else. The injera was rubbery, thick and a little soggy. The meat dish also tasted like a combination of Kenya and a little Ethiopian. Then he had the nerve to charge us $54, at the end since he made what he had in the kitchen we should of received some type of consolation, a discount or something.....as an Ethiopian, it is deeply upsetting that this establishment is claiming to serve that has no remnants of where I am from....

I was so sad to pull up to the restaurant last night and see the building for lease! It was one of my favorite places in Fresno and I was going to celebrate a happy occasion. Will also have to think of another place to cater my party now too, I was set on Fasika. So long to the best food and customer service in Fresno.

Wonderful food, kind and charismatic owner, excellent value, comfortable dining. The owner will briefly walk you through the menu so dont feel intimidated! There are wonderful vegetarian and meat dishes. The sample style tray lets you try several out at one time. You will have leftover food and it's delicious warmed up! Absolutely will be back. Try it out! You won't regret it! Vegetarian options: The vegetarian sample plate is to die for Dietary restrictions: Lots of incredible vegetarian, vegan and meat options. Parking: Lots of spots right out front Kid-friendliness: You eat Ethiopian food by pinching a portion of the entree with pieces of lentil Flatbread. Clean and unique and kind of fun. Older kids will love Wheelchair accessibility: Free-standing tables with chairs that are not attached. Lots of room to navigate. The owner is lovely and accommodating.

The food on both the Ethiopian and Kenyan menu are mostly vegetable based and there is a huge selection for vegetarians and vegans. It is fulfilling but not too heavy, and extremely healthy. The atmosphere is beautifully done, I love the Habesha artistry around the restaurant that allows the diners to get a feel of and appreciate what African culture (Ethiopian - Habesha) and aesthetics are like along with the different foods originating in East Africa.

The food here was nothing short of amazing. Every dish served was a delightful experience, tantalizing our taste buds with each bite. The service too was commendable. The staff was not only super helpful but also impressively knowledgeable, adding to the overall dining experience. However, there was a noticeable downside - the long wait. Despite the evident popularity of the place, indicated by the large number of customers, there seemed to be only two staff members managing the floor. As a result, we ended up waiting almost 75 minutes for our food. While this was a bit of a dampener, the wait turned out to be totally worth it, thanks to the exceptional quality of the food. The flavors and presentation were so remarkable that I’d definitely return, hoping for a quicker service next time!

We have had Ethiopian food all over the world and this was one of the best meals we have had. As good as the food was, the owner and service was even better. Highly recommended and thank you again!

I had lunch here - I used to live in Oakland and there are the BEST Ethiopian resultants there! I have also lived in NYC and traveled Europe and I always get Ethiopian food wherever I am. Anyway, this place was pretty good all things considered. The staff were nice, the food was tasty, but I’ve definitely had better. But, it’s Fresno, beggars can’t be choosers. Haha. Parking: There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on ground floor

Vegetarian options: There were different lentil dishes. Everything was really delicious. Perfect amount of spice for me. Might be too spicy for some. The injera is fantastic.
