Very friendly staff and very attentive. For the price, the food is not very good. Our won ton soup tasted like dirty dish water and the meat inside was bland and in seasoned. The orange chicken was soggy, but the flavor was great. The mushu chicken was actually really good and flavorful. But for the price ($14 for won ton, ~$25 for each other dish) it's just not worth it. Really cool old building inside!
Oldest continuously operated Chinese restaurant in SF. Amazing food and atmosphere, get a booth! Spicy green beans, bok choi, and vegetable chow mein were all 10/10…better than 4.9 rated restaurants in NYC Chinatown. dont let the weighted Google score fool you, they just dont GAF about google ratings.
Good food, good service, I had no complaints nothing too memorable other than the architecture of the building was pretty cool
Came in as I was passing by and have to say I wasn’t disappointed. Ordered the seafood chow mein, which was amazing, and the serving could have easily been shared for 2. the staff were very friendly and I liked the overall atmosphere.
My group and I came in because we were hungry and hadn’t eaten all day and the place right next this one was closed so we decided on here. The menus were basically empty, sure there were choices but the descriptions of what was to be in the dishes was unknown. The service was awful as the servers we had could not comprehend our simple complaint that our ribs that we had ordered were cold and offered to “reheat them”, with a straight face. When it came to the main course the whole dish was flavorless and we had to add salt and pepper to season. Something that wasn’t explicitly said is that there is a fee for having a party that is 4 or more so they considered that their tip. Generally the whole experience sucked and you’d be better off going to Panda Express or just going tot eh Starbucks down the road.
My group and i came here to eat we were starving, saw this place in the corner and decided to dine in. While ordering i asked for straws, the waiter looked nd rolled her eyes at me. While ordering my boyfriend Got bbq ribs, they were COLD. we politely asked to just take it off our bill but they were being rude. eventually the manager said it was okay. Once our food arrived my chicken chowmain had no seasoning. as well as my groups chowmain. My chicken was cold nd bland. Over all waste of money.
