Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Food was no where worth the price. Dry and bland chicken, pulled pork was okay and the brisket was just ‍♀️. Service was great tho.

Food not bad , but they are so OVERPRICED it is ridiculous, must be nice to pay $30.00 + plus a TIP . I guess they must think there serving ribeyes instead of basically the cheapest cuts of the cow . You can basically buy a whole brisket marinade it throw it on the grill and slow cook 275 to 325 , 50 minutes per pound and you get moist brisket for about $3.00 per plate . They charge $17.50 for a friggen sandwich !!! Disgusting and Gouging . Not Recommended and not that good with small portions.

This place is my favorite go-to spot for BBQ in CO Springs. I’ve tried others but none have been as good as Famous Dave’s. I hosted an event at work and had Famous Dave’s cater…… It was a hit! I was thanked over and over again for such a great choice.

We ordered 2 steak dinners through Grubhub and at delivery one steak dinner was missing. I contacted the restaurant and they told me they packed both dinners and the driver must have kept the one dinner. I spoke with the driver and he denied having the dinner and reported what he delivered is what was in the order given him. I spoke to a worker at the restaurant who spoke to a manager and reported they have on camera that they packed 2 orders and that we need to call Grubhub. I find it hard to believe the driver stole the steak dinner and the restaurant would not even consider the possibility they made a mistake, as mistakes do happen. The one steak was bright red, almost raw, and the order was for medium. I have ordered from this places 2 to 3 times a month for the last year and will no longer order from them. There was no concern, empathy, or considering on their part. Essentially, its not out fault, the driver took the meal, and call Grubhub.

Great food, nice friendly atmosphere, but i was kind of ignored while standing at the front hostess stand while several employees walked by, and then waited at the togo counter for another 4 or 5 minutes. Not the end of the world but that aspect of the restaurant could definitely be improved.

The steaks were tough and fatty

Their Burnt ends are delicious.

Food was spicy. Chicken was dry and skin was dry. Very small portions. Employees are rude and were not knowledgeable about the food. $38 for 2 meats,2 sides and 2 non alcoholic drinks. The baked beans for spicy and the green beans were hard
