Fakas Island Grill

Came here over the weekend with my friends, and we love this place! Best food and service in downtown Santa Ana. The guys are great and super chill because we came pretty close to closing, and they still served a fire meal! I'm really grateful they did that, and I will be coming back again. Thanks guys!

Fist time going to California and Fakas the guy who took our order was really cool and we had a smal convo the katsu sando was amazing and the cheehoo fries were 1 of 1 some of the best food I’ve ever had

I ordered the Honey Sesame Katsu Plate online and it was ready in 5 minutes - the fastest response I've ever had for online ordering! The Katsu is quality & crispy, the macaroni salad is a unique twist on the usual Hawaiian macaroni salad. Personally, I find it a little bland in comparison to traditional recipes, almost like it's missing the vinegar? The Katsu honey sesame sauce was the opposite - a flavor explosion that I loved that will keep me coming back. I do wish there was more variation in the menu options, specifically for seafood (I also saw shrimp pictures that currently isn't available in the online menu?).

Chef Patrick was amazing I talked to him because I was having trouble deciding on what to get off the menu. The reason why is I thought everything sounded so so amazing. So he suggested a Hungry Faka which was a combination of it all.Also it was enough food to feed about 3 people.Overall, fantastic food and great people working there I will return
