The vibes are there for sure! Great cozy little spot and staff were super friendly and nice. If you’re coming for brunch, would help to book a spot. We had to wait 25min for a table, which isn’t that bad for Vancouver. There wasn’t anything special about the food though. We got the pork belly benny and huevo rancheros, as well as the all day breakfast. Portions are on the smaller side, and for the price of each entree it wasn’t worth it… But, vibes are there and the atmosphere and staff are awesome!
Pretty poor experience. we heard about this place from locals. We called ahead on a Sunday, heard it wasn't too busy, so we headed down with our toddler and baby. Turned out it was a 25 min wait. No matter! we new it was brunch Sunday so we waited The catering to the kids was good enough. They had high chair and crayons with A printout of paw patrol. The kids menu is pretty lame (5 selections) but whatever, they weren't fussed. The reason for the bad review is the unbelievable wait time for our food. And when it arrived it was cold.the Benny served with 'Greens' was literally a side of one piece of lettuce. We get the brunch scene is a big deal, but I guess we kind of expected some sort of wow factor for the exorbitant price (100$ for two adults and two children. No alcohol), or at least hot food. Try someplace else imo
Food is good but portion on the small side.
Staff were great and friendly. The duck pancake was good except the kimchi overpowered the dish and made some parts of my pancake soggy. Hubby loved the fancy strawberry milkshake. He wasn’t a big fan of the meatloaf sandwich.
Good diner food and the hot sauces are a nice touch.
Chicken sandwich was nothing special. Good service but the music was awful.
*update* Just found out they canned her for heres a 1 star fable This place has a nice vibe and wonderful service. I was served by “Taryn” very sweet and kind young woman even though she was slammed with the other customers she still managed to get my order of a boozy milkshake. Shows that she loves her job and cares. Gave her a good $$$ tip! Will definitely come back! Also they have trivia nights and brunch days so thats a plus. Wish the downtown location served milkshakes though!
We go there because my friend loves the milkshakes. I've not had one but will take her word for it. Can't go wrong with the breakfast/brunch. A bit noisy but we contributed to the noise too. Dietary restrictions: I don't eat pork so they made sure not to put it anywhere near my eggs. One of my friends has a nut allergy and in the three times we've been in last year or two she has been fine
