We had a private event for a work function with ~75-100 people. While it was not set-up to accommodate my dietary needs when we arrived, Kristen was quick to jump in and help me get something to eat. The solution wasn’t just okay, it was AMAZING (probably the best GF pizza I’ve ever had!) She then made sure as desserts came out I was taken care of as well. A+ to Kristen and her impeccable customer service. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Typical American fusion restaurant suited for corporate meals. When I heard that EVOO returned after the pandemic, I was excited to try them out. Just like other places around, it primarily caters to corporate clientele, but during our recent visit on a weekday night, the place was fairly empty. For the appetizers, we had the beef tartare and the rabbit rillette. The Beef Tartare was a fusion, merging Mexican flair with a classic tartare. The incorporation of pickled jalapeños, cilantro, and roasted peppers lent a familiar comfort to the dish. Though slightly dense, it was an applaudable twist. On the other hand, the Rabbit Rillettes was my favorite of the meal. The combination of foie gras with the sweetness of baked apples was delightful, and the accompanying celery root-apple salad injected a much-needed crunch and freshness. Unfortunately, the entrées were a bit disappointing. The Beef Tenderloin, while ambitious in its conception with roasted garlic cloves embedded within, faltered in execution. The meat seemed parched, and there wasn’t much flavor except for the Béarnaise sauce. The Chinese Box, while visually arresting, felt disjointed. The mustard glazed rock shrimp perched on top was flavorful, but the firm texture of the organic brown rice shifted the dish's balance, leaning it more towards a salad than a satisfying entrée. I’m not sure if EVOO’s return after the pandemic came with a huge facelift, but overall, it was a somewhat disappointing experience. It may be good for business meals, but probably not the best option for casual dinners.

Used to come here 20 years ago when I was in town. Not I live here and dropped by. Had the vegetarian bowl thingy. It was under flavored and just meh in general. Spouse had samosas. Decent but again underflavored.
