We were in the area on a Sunday afternoon and wanted some Mediterranean/middle eastern food. It’s a cute little counter service restaurant with seating that was clean and tastefully designed. You order food up front and then pick it up at the counter. It was our first time there and had looked at the menu before we got there. There was supposed to be brunch/breakfast and dinner menus on Sunday’s but only the brunch menu was displayed. We were a little confused and asked the cashier/cook if that was the only menu and she impatiently said yes in a rude and incredulous tone and gave us a condescending look. We were the only customers there and asked one question so we didn’t understand the attitude. We got the steak shawarma wraps which tasted good but pretty average and overpriced at $15 each. While eating, I checked their online pick-up menu and it had the dinner menu, which made me more annoyed at the rude employee. I wouldn’t come back here honestly and would rather go to the many other Mediterranean/middle eastern restaurants in Chicago with better food at the same price-point.
Have gotten the shawarma wrap over 5 times and it’s always good $ fresh
The best FRIES ever!!!! Their garlic feta fries with that special pink sauce HEAVEN!!! I love their wraps too! Halloumi wraps are a great vegetarian option
Yum yum yum! I had the falafel wrap - DELICIOUS! So much flavor and I thought it was a very big serving. Employees were lovely. Not a lot of seating options, mostly or all stools if I remember properly. I enjoyed my visit and I hope you do too!
Good food, great ambience, great service!
Found this place very much by accident but so glad that I did! The Falafel I ordered was absolutely amazing. One of the better I have had. The Garlic Fries were also amazing. Definitely a different spin on traditional garlic fries with the feta and sauce but was delicious. Serve was quick and pleasant. Atmosphere was calm and fun. The old school wrestlers on the wall, which was the owners family I was told, gave it a very homely vibe. The food was so good I forgot to take photos . My apologies. Definitely will come back here when in town again!
This is one of the best taco places in Chicago. They have a unique twist on it and it’s a cute and fun atmosphere.
I like the Gyro Schwarma!
