Evangelo's Restaurant

The food was delicious!! The seafood stuffed mushrooms were amazing and so was the spaghetti and the seafood pasta was out of this world! I will be coming back!!

We were driving thru and saw their sign and swung in. We are glad we did! We both had side salads and Alfredo. He had the Shrimp & Scallop and I had the Chicken. Best salad I've had in a long time, and the pasta was phenomenal as well. Wonderful, friendly waitress too. Stop in, you won't be disappointed!

Great wait staff, and glad that the old owners took it back over as it went downhill there for a while. Prices are alright for what you're getting, my only complaint was the chicken that I added to my salad last visit, just was pretty rubbery. I still go here once a month for date night despite that one incident.

Appalling service from shay. So rude and indifferent. Food was just bad. Bread stale, pasta overcooked, no seasoning, my food was piping hot but my dates food was as cold as our server. Just awful. Will I be back? Yeah, right.

Update 1/18/24 We hadn't gone to dine here for a couple of years because the quality of the food had suffered so badly under the new management. We understood that Evangelo himself had taken back the controls and would bring the quality We had enjoyed for many years. Unfortunately, the quality hasn't yet returned. My wife ordered a well-done steak, but it was delivered medium and had to be returned. I ordered the seafood stuffed halibut, and the seafood was barely noticeable, and the rice was dry and flavorless. Our waitress was very good. I've been frequenting Evangelos since before they built their current restaurant, when they occupied a space in a strip mall. This is a consistently high quality Italian eatery, with good mountain views and good service. Their pizza has been the best in the Valley for many years now. For dinner, try the off-menu terriaki steak strips with rice. It's my wife's favorite.

The outside is deceiving. It may look a little old but the inside is clean and beautifully decorated. Many different Italian dish options. Our server was quick and polite with all of our needs. We loved the food and will definitely return

Quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in Wasilla! Have been twice in the last couple of weeks and both times it was fantastic. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy inside, service is professional and warm and food has been very good. The halibut Po’ Boy special this weekend was a stand-out. Prices are reasonable too.
