I love evangelines so much! We even went there for prom dinner so many years ago! Great food! Great atmosphere! Great place!!!

We've been going here regularly for 6 years now. Always good food and good service. It's fun when there's a band. I generally get a half oyster half shrimp poboy and my husband likes the gumbo and etouffee. They're muffalettas are good too. It's not as good as NOLA, but it is as good as it gets in Austin and we always leave happy.

Great people but the food did make me sick. I think/hope they were just having a bad day, but the frog legs and seafood gumbo did not stay down well.
