We usually stop by after climbing (food is okay) and today we were told it was last call and said we'll have one drink and leave. As soon as we sat down they turned up the music unbearably loud that we were forced to drink our drinks quickly and leave .. I've worked in the in the industry for 10 years as well so I know when it's on purpose. Was a bit too on the nose to kick all of the customers out. Not the best experience.

Came for the restaurant week price fix. Ambiance is nice. Service was satisfactory. After a while the seat wear out your bum due to lack of cushions.

Every time I go here, I’m truly shocked by how good the food is. Some of the best burgers, Mac + cheese, Brussels sprouts, and pretzels in a city with lots of those things—and in a totally unpretentious atmosphere.

Fantastic spot with great service and food. Came for a friends engagement party and even though they were short staffed everything came out quick. Food was great and will come back to watch football!

Local Gowanus sports bar punches well above its weight with chefy dishes for deli prices. Pre fix menu was only 30$! When I walked in and saw hockey players smashing into each other, I did not expect smoked salmon cured in beet juice or pea purée under trout with crispy skin. The steak which was ordered, medium rare came very rare, but they knew what they were doing, because that particular cut was tender and juicy at a rare temperature. The flat bread was bad, too rich! Needs some acidity. Dessert was my favorite. Beautifully balanced, not too sweet or rich, featuring excellent flavors and a beautiful presentation. Also the draft/bottle list were great and the staff was friendly and attentive.
