My pal Pasquale Wong the Rodeo Clown from New Hampshire is here on winter break and wanted to meet me at the European Market Deli for sandwiches. Now, I wouldn't normally drive all the way to Castro Valley from Napa for a free sandwich but when Pasquale said "European Market Deli" I was all in! They're the best in the east bay, Castro Valley for sure. Plus, I wanted to hear about the Grand Nationals, and how he pulled Twiller Bunkinstick of the back of the rank bull, without getting run over. Man-O-Man those sandwiches were great. 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆
