Our new favorite restaurant in north end. Been going in here for dinner for 20 plus years and this place is among the best we’ve had. Will be back for sure.
Love everything about this restaurant!
I love this restaurant!! Steffano is the best, he was very attentive and always had a bright smile. He deserves a raise and a good vacation for helping me and my husband on our date night :) Opera singers were so iconic! This place is amazing
Very nice, small, romantic dinner location. We ate downstairs, wine cellar vibes. Our table wobbled a bit (not even enough for us to say anything) but a waiter saw it and ran over to fix it for us. They were also very accommodating for an older couple seated next to us (he needed a high back chair for his back and they had some dietary restrictions. I wasn't being nosey, we were just seated very close to each other). Neither of us saw a drink menu other than wine so we just stuck with water during dinner. Unsure if they offer any other alcohol but did see cokes headed to another table so looks like at least soft drinks too. My husband got the bolognese that they're known for and was very happy. I got a steak with mushroom risotto, also very happy. It was cooked perfectly.
10/10 experience! From the food, to our waiter Richard, to the entertainment, and last but not least… the ambiance! We had such a lovely (early) Valentine’s Day dinner. We arrived at 7 for our reservation, they were having computer issues and we had to wait a while to be seated as they had to close out other folks without the computers. We didn’t mind at all, they were communicative and apologetic, and hey, not their fault at all! They gave us some delicious limoncello crema from Sorrento at the end as a thank you for our patience! Richard was the BEST! Attentive, kind, and just overly helpful with choosing our apps and dinner. We couldn’t decide because we really wanted it all!! Thank you so much, Richard! We got the artichoke stuffed with goat cheese, wrapped in prosciutto, then I had the pappardelle with cream sauce and prosciutto. And my husband had one of the specials, flounder with capers and lemon sauce. Then the crème brûlée for dessert! All of it was UNREAL!!! They had two opera singers sing two Italian love songs and happy birthday to another customer. Which really really brought a lovely ambiance! We will 110% be back for another delicious dinner!
The atmosphere is really nice, and they had a live singer on that night. The food, however, is solid but leaves a lot to be desired.
Everythin was VERY good about this place. Thanks to the staff and the owner for the good ambiance !!
