I will say counter customer service was very good. The food is very pricey. The jumbo tenders are definitely not jumbo for the three you get. And the mild chicken wings I ordered my mother were definitely not mild and for whatever reason were sprinkled with sugar. And okra not sure how they cook it but the actual batter was part of what was suppose to be fried okra. Tried this place but very less and disappointed for the experience and money spent. Not sure if I would recommend it.
Save your money! The JUMBO tenders meal comes with 3 tender the size of your thumb, $6 a tender is a joke. The food is good but the price is ridiculous and a complete rip off. Sides not included, and service is slow. If this was reasonably priced it would be a great spot but I just paid $30 for a meal that wouldn’t satisfy a toddler.
Can't stop eating! Sooooo good! Sweet heat for me! Half of a bird and 2 sides!
The food was great, the service is slow but that is because they cook to order, and they get very busy... the atmosphere threw me off some because the place was way too small for their customer base...
My new favorite restaurant!! Everything is good from the chicken to the sides. My go to is the chicken and waffles!! All yall need is syrup. Please stop by and support our neighbors. ❤️❤️
Went to Eugene's for lunch decided on catfish OMG the collards somebody's grandma cooked them they were delicious if you visit Birmingham Eugene's is a must visit
Some of the best chicken in Birmingham! The employees are always working hard and the store is always so clean and welcoming. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. Most people opt out of eating there so there is usually plenty of seats. Came here to meet up with a few friends during a conference and the environment was great! Eugene’s is a friend chicken stable! Parking: Can we a bit hard to find parking if you’re driving. Kid-friendliness: Lots of space to run and play around! Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.
This is a hybrid Nashville chicken/fried chicken spot, with some epic sides and amazing homemade sauces. The line can get a bit long and you may have to keep an open eye to allow you to commandeer a table. But you'll get a lot of food and it'll be quite nice (1/2 chicken and 2 sides for ~$20 or so). The collard greens are worth trying and they come in a generously sized Styrofoam cup (note, some food is served in Styrofoam, which I don't really like) Parking: Street parking...so you may have to walk if downtown is hopping.
The chicken was alright. The Creamy Mac & Cheese however was delicious. The service was also good. They took good care of us despite the place being packed. The atmosphere was chill and they kept the place clean.
