3 tacos pour 13 dollars je trouve que c’est encore une fois inconcevable Surtout pour du cochinita pibil et al Pastor… Pour ce qui est de la qualité, c’est correct mais cela ne mérite certainement pas le prix
If you've never had authentic Mexican food before, then you might enjoy this place. Otherwise, the food is subpar - let's just call it "interestingly" flavored. The portions are minuscule, and the prices are not fair given the quality and quantity of the food. The place always seems to be busy, which is concerning. I will be avoiding this restaurant in the future.
Food was good. Mainly the quesadilla. But unfortunatly our waitress was completly drunk and she was behaving in a weird way, asking for hugs. It was an unconfortable night. It is pricy for the small portion we got.
We had eaten at another one of Escondite Cerveceria de Barrio restaurants on a previous visit to Montreal, and really enjoyed it. They describe themselves as "Escondite Cerveceria de Barrio are Mexican restaurants situated in Montreal, West-Island, Laval and Repentigny, that serves Mexican inspired goodies and house crafted Tequila cocktails." We'd already had lunch, so the choice of small plates was ideal. We chose some guacamole to start with, followed by some very tasty tacos. Really nice: well presented and very delicious. We ate: - Guacamole served with smoked paprika totopos - Coliflor: corn tortilla, paste, crispy cauliflower, black bean pepper crema, coriander - Cochinita Pibil: corn tortilla, pork cooked in banana leaf, marinated onions, black bean paste - Ensalada De Mangos: mango, cucumber, coriander, peanuts, shallots, pickled shallots, crispy chamoy dressing, serrano chile Also posted to my food blog on Instagram @AbbeyKing16
